Case Study

Flipboard
We worked with Flipboard in launching its U.S. Latino Content Guide in June 2014 after it saw significant audience growth and demand for Spanish-language news. Prior to the launch, nearly 15% of Flipboard’s readers in the U.S. were reading content in Spanish. That inspired Flipboard’s team to start curating content and building partnerships specifically for the U.S. Latino audience. To make it easy for readers to find all this great content, Flipboard’s editorial team compiled the new U.S. Latino Content Guide with Spanish and English content.

We facilitated introductions and managed relationships with media companies and social media influencers for the launch of Flipboard’s U.S. Latino Content Guide, which included:

U.S.-based Spanish language publications: CNET en Español, CNN en Español, Huff Post Voces, Tu Tecnología, Variety Latino and Vida y Salud

English-language media for Hispanics in the U.S.: Fox News Latino, Huffington Post Latino Voices and Latina

Leading publishers from Mexico: Esquire Latinoamérica, Milenio, Excélsior, Adrenalina360, ALT1040 and Dinero en imagen

Flipboard magazines curated by prominent Latino voices: Ismael Cala, Cala en Flipboard, Doctora Aliza, En Cuerpo y Alma, Chef Pepín, Con Chef Pepín Hasta El Fín, Ariel Coro, Digital-Mente, Ana Flores, Spanglish Life, León Krauze, Epicenter and Alfonso De Anda, a.k.a. “Poncho,” Pla(N)eta
